Mari Padeanu is a queer musician from Winnipeg,
Manitoba known for their intricate harmony, melody,
and lyricism. They released their first EP, The Fool,
in February of 2025, and have recently performed at
the Winnipeg Jazz Festival, Winnipeg Fringe
Festival, Winnipeg Pride, GentleFest, Salamander
Summer Music Fest, and more.

Often compared to Amy Winehouse, Adele, or
Norah Jones, Mari blends genres of jazz, funk, R&B,
and pop, to create a harmony-rich sound balanced
by their intimate lyrics and deep contralto range.
