MUZO

About

Muzo embarked on the musical journey in 2007, 3 years after he moved from Kankoyo, Mufurila Zambia to Winnipeg, Canada. Muzo's love for music can be traced back as far as his grade school days in Zambia where he would randomly start "freestyling" around his group of friends. Moving to Canada in 2004 provided Muzo with an opportunity to explore his musical talents at a professional level. In 2007 he released his first studio project called "Reason To Hate". He was in his 10th grade when the mixtape hit the scenes of Fort Richmond Collegiate High School. In 2009, Muzo released his 2nd studio project called "Making Momma Proud". This was his most intimate project to date, with melodies that were deeply rooted in his Zambian origins. His native language "Bemba" was often interchanged with English in a handful of tracks on the album. 2010 was his official breakthrough on the Canadian radio scene with his local radio hit "Success City" which was followed by a city-wide press run. This was the year of TV, radio, and newspaper interviews. To top the year off, he released his 3rd studio project "Departure to Success City". In 2011, riding off the attention from his previous radio hit, he followed up with another local radio smash hit "Girls & Money". This is one of Muzo's popular tracks locally. That same year he released his 4th studio project "The Detour". To Be Continued...
