O.D. Beresford is the musical persona of Winnipeg-based singer-songwriter Owen Dueck. Music has always been an integral part of Owen’s life, starting with piano lessons at age 6, before picking up the guitar, bass, and drums. Influenced by luminaries like Nick Drake and Bob Dylan, as well as contemporary artists such as Andy Shauf, Jessica Pratt, and Thom Yorke, O.D. Beresford creates personal folk compositions marked by intimate lyrics and distinctive melodies.
