Rayannah is a Franco-Manitoban artist, producer, beat-maker and artistic director based in Winnipeg.

Innovative on stage and in the studio, Rayannah unveiled her first full length studio album Nos repaires (Our Haunts) in March of 2019. She went on to be named “Francophone Artist of the Year” and “Producer of the Year” at the Western Canadian Music Awards in 2019.À

Since the release of her first EP in 2015, Rayannah has toured her electro-alternative project across Canada, Europe and Latin-America and opened for international acts including Esperanza Spalding and Ariane Moffatt.

As a producer, Rayannah has worked on a variety of projects including studio albums and sound design for theatre and film. In 2021 she stepped into the role of artistic director with her immersive multi-disciplinary project Afterglow which saw artists from different disciplines collaborate on an innovative virtual performance. She went on to found and spearhead HYPERART - a Winnipeg-based multidisciplinary festival featuring collaborative performances and installations. Most recently, she was commissioned to create a new genre-bending electronic piece featuring dancers from the Royal Winnipeg Ballet.

Whether performing solo or working on multidisciplinary projects, Rayannah shares something raw, intimate, and transcendent all at once.

Rayannah est une artiste, réalisatrice, beatmakeuse et directrice artistique franco-manitobaine.

Sur scène comme en studio, elle crée des paysages sonores portés par sa voix singulière. Son univers électro-alternatif mêle expérimentation et chanson à coup d'échantillonnage, de looping, et de création analogique et digitale. Son premier album, Nos repaires, révèle un univers onirique et immersif, tant par sa musique que par ses visuels multimédias. En 2019, elle est nommée « Artiste francophone de l’année » et « Réalisatrice de l’année » aux Western Canadian Music Awards.

En tant que réalisatrice, le travail de Rayannah s’étend sur un éventail de projets dont des albums complets, des collaborations en beatmaking et des trames sonores pour des œuvres théâtrales et audio-visuelles. Ancrée dans une démarche collaborative qui traverse les médiums, Rayannah s’illustre autant par ses créations audiovisuelles évocatrices que par ses œuvres multidisciplinaires. En 2022, elle fonde à Saint-Boniface, au Manitoba, le festival expérimental et multidisciplinaire Hyperart, dont elle assure la direction artistique et exécutive.

Originaire de Winnipeg, où elle réside toujours, Rayannah a présenté ses œuvres au Canada, en Europe et en Amérique latine. Sur scène comme en création, elle privilégie une approche viscérale et audacieuse.
