Scott Richards

Scott Richards is a musician born and raised in La Salle Manitoba. He started off in piano lessons at a young age and soon found himself bored of only tickling the ivories. The piano did however lead to Scott finding his voice and growing his passion for music as he found himself learning the guitar, mandolin and ukulele. Scott continued to use his voice in choirs, musicals and church all throughout his high school career and found himself writing original music in his dorm room when he wasn't in class. In the summers of 2018 and 2019 Scott performed some orignals on Shady Grove stage at the Winnipeg Folk Festival which only fueled his passion to write and perform music. Musical inspiration for Mr. Richards comes from a wide range of artists and a wide range of genres from Ben Howard to Hands Like Houses, from 80s soft rock to Alternative. He now finds himself with his first EP, Meet Me in the Woods, out on all streaming platforms as he continues to perform and write more music.
