Cowboy alternative power-duo Two Hip is made up of Jay Buchanan (NYC) & Chelsey Young (WPG). They have a unique style that combines poetic imagery & introspection with lush harmonies. A variety of instruments are used in their performance (ranging from 80's B8 Mini Air Organs to dobro acoustics), many of which were found in the back lanes of Winnipeg.

J & C have collaborated on countless projects ranging from creating new Fringe shows, singing in opera choruses, & performing 'Louis & Ella' at the Winnipeg Jazz Festival. Most recently, they were Wandering Minstrels at the 2018 - 2022 Winnipeg Folk Fest and are planning a record release for the fall. They chill, they lit, they ain't never gonna quit.
