Whoop & Hollar Folk Festival is a non-profit organization and annual festival in Manitoba, Canada that creates and celebrates community through music, art, and nature. 

By means of its year-round programming, Whoop & Hollar is focused on promoting, supporting, and expanding the unique identity of its local and regional arts and culture scene.

2020 DRIVE-IN FESTIVAL: 

Have you dreamed of attending a live Manitoba music festival this summer!!?? Well, that's now a reality again!

Free your spirit at the 2020 Whoop & Hollar Folk Festival: Drive-In Edition, presented in part by Canadian Heritage's Building Communities Through Arts and Heritage Program and the Portage Ex Association!

Two evenings of amazing Manitoba music on Friday, August 28th and Saturday, August 29th, from 6:30 pm to 11:00 pm each night, from the comfort of your vehicle! The festival will also be live-streamed so you can attend virtually if you choose.

**Advance registration for limited vehicles only!!**

"Pod passes" admit one vehicle with up to 6 individuals from the same social bubble and/or household plus access to an open viewing area on the left side of the vehicle.

Vehicles of a lower height (i.e. cars) are encouraged for the optimal viewing experience, with limited spots for SUVs, small trucks, and minivans.

Be sure to register your pod and secure your pod pass when they become available online on Saturday, August 8th at 12 noon CDT! Only $10/vehicle with optional donations per attendee. Don't miss out!!

No transactions, food vendors, artisans, activities, or camping on site this year. Bring your own food and water, and feel free to have a picnic within your pod.

PLEASE NOTE: Physical distancing of two metres in effect at all times, stay in your pod unless to use the restroom, wear a mask, maintain proper hand hygiene, stay home if feeling unwell or exhibiting COVID-19 symptoms/exposed to someone with COVID-19 within two weeks of the event/travelling out of province within two weeks of the event. All festival-goers must complete a brief COVID-19 screening questionnaire at the gate and at registration. Only residents of Manitoba will be permitted on site.
