Across Winnipeg, some youth and young adults can face barriers on the path to employment. For many, a desire to succeed may not be enough to overcome the challenges they face — particularly when it can be difficult to gain relevant experience.
 
Sam’s Place, a Social Enterprise of MCC Manitoba, is a vibrant cafe in the Exchange District that equips and empowers young people to overcome barriers by bridging the gap toward meaningful employment.
