It's time to get your Fringe on. The venerable festival of alternative theatre celebrates a quarter century this year. Fringe also hosts plenty of great music, including a bustling and diverse free outdoor stage at The Cube, which features performanced by over 25 local bands and artists. In addition to the outdoor stage, acclaimed Japanese drumming group Fubuki Daiko will present its first Fringe Fest show, Godzilla vs. Led Zeppelin, at the Winnipeg Art Gallery (Venue #12). The group's track "Fubuki" is this week's featured download, and it pairs very nicely with the Fubuki Godzilla Daiko cheesecake that neighbouring eatery Dessert Sinsations is selling for the duration of the Fringe (in case you're wondering, it's white chocolate mango swirl cheesecake with green tea mousse, and sliced mango... drool).
