The dynamic duo of Stefanie Blondal Johnson (vocals, guitar) and Jodi Dunlop (drums) is about to celebrate the release of its debut full length, Desire's Despair. Out on local label Pipe & Hat, the album features the producing talents of Howard Bilerman (Arcade Fire), Howard Redekopp (Mother Mother, Tegan and Sara), Ron Obvious, and Tony Berg (Beck). Mise en Scene takes over the West End Cultural Centre with labelmates The Noble Thiefs on December 1 for the hometown release party.
