As we prepare to say goodbye to a great/busy 2013 and welcome the Year of Music, there's still one big thing to celebrate: NYE. There's no shortage of live music to help you ring in the new year, with shows spanning just about every genre you can think of. Winnipeg's newest music hotspot, Union Sound Hall, is offering up a night of turntable fun courtesy of its DJ all-stars Hunnicutt, Footwerk, Lonnie Ce, Lambo, and DJ Co-op (aka Tim Hoover). To help get you in the mood for festivities, we've got a special download of Co-op's remix of acclaimed local indie pop outfit Boats' track "Advice on Bears". Grab it for free and give it a spin while you decide which pair of dancing shoes to wear at Union's NYE party (you can also look for DJ Co-op at the Smithfits dane party at Union on Dec 28 at the Park Theatre on Jan 29 for Grippin Grain).
