Kick off the new year with some new local music! Renée Lamoureux is gearing up for the launch of her new album, Empower, and we've got a preview for you this week. She'll celebrate the release with a party at The Park Theatre on January 3. The award-winning pop/country singer/songwriter has had a busy 2019, including the #3 spot on the Indigenous Music Countdown for her single "My Boo", a coveted showcase spot at BIGSOUND in Australia, and Manitoba Country Music Award nominations for Female Artist of the Year—which she won in 2016 for with album Dare To Be You—and the Indigenous Country Music Award.
