Indie alternative artist JayWood, aka Jeremy Haywood-Smith, is ready for a big spring with the launch of his latest EP, Some Days. Out now via Brooklyn-based label Captured Tracks and Royal Mountain in Canada, the new album is already turning heads, with recent nods from the likes of KEXP, Paste, Atwood Magazine, Northern Transmissions, Exclaim!, Winnipeg Free Press, and was selected as the #1 EP on BBC Radio 1Xtra by Jamz Supernova. JayWood also recently curated a playlist for FLOOD Magazine of favourite songs by Winnipeg artists. His recently-released video for the EP's title track is nearly 14,000 views on YouTube and climbing, and he's gearing up for another video shoot. We've got "Some Days" for you as this week's feature.
