Mic North has been having a busy summer. The hip hop artist and co-founder of local indie label JetCity Records released his latest single "TIGT (Tonight I'm Going There)" featuring Cisha, which is currently in the #3 spot on the Indigenous Music Countdown. He highlighted up-and-coming local hip hop talent in late with Future Fest, took the stage for the Nistumee Neepinee Keesikow Concert at The Cube, performed at last month's Soca Reggae Festival, headed to Toronto to work with Photos by Astralphoto (Drake's personal photographer), was featured on Breakfast Club Television to promote his performance alongside Rayvon, headlined Calgary's Puff Puff Pass Festival with Plimpton, and finished a youth music camp with Peshawnkelly in Whitefish Bay, ON. Next up, Mic North will participate in RBC Touring & Showcasing Program, planning for a video shoot for his single "On God", which has racked up over 4.5 million views on TikTok, and hitting the road for a tour at the end of 2022.
