Morgan Grace has a busy summer of live music ahead of her! The 15-year-old left-handed fiddler player, who hails from East Selkirk and has been playing since she was 4, has a string of shows coming up over the next three months across the province and beyond. Grace will take the stage at Selkirk Indigenous Days on June 21, sākihiwē festival's IVNE Block Party on June 25, co-MC the Selkirk Canada Day celebration, join St. Andrews Heritage Center's porch performances on July 7, head south to North Dakota for the Ryan Keplin Summer Fest July 15-16, and round out the summer at the Whoop and Hollar Folk Festival on August 28. Grace is fresh from the release of her self-titled debut album, produced by Tom Dutiaume (all-star and of Indigenous artists including Dean Malcolm and Leroy Constant plays the launch show) and we've got her track "Bowing the Strings" for you as this week's featured song.
