You'll have a couple of chances to hum along to Ethan Lyric's catchy melodies on festival stages this summer! The up-and-coming Winnipeg-based Indigenous singer/songwriter will bring his signature blend of folk, indie, and pop to the Winnipeg Folk Festival's Shady Grove stage for their all-day Stingray Young Performers Program show on July 8. Next up, he'll perform a tweener set at Real Love Summer Fest on July 23. Lyric is also busy working on his forthcoming EP, Next Time Keep it to Yourself, and turning heads on TikTok.
