Sam Baardman has returned to the fold with two new albums in the span of a few months. The veteran singer/songwriter keeps his creative comeback going with the upcoming Earth Day launch of his latest, Athabasca, which follows 2022's Marsh Radio. A collaboration with USask's Global Water Futures, a research program focused on water science, Athabasca celebrates nature while confronting the climate crisis. Baardman will share his new music with audiences at the West End Cultural Centre on April 22 and we've got his latest single, "Lake Winnipeg", for you as this week's feature.
