Acclaimed rap/hip hop artist Len Bowen is back with a new album for your playlists. Released at the end of June via BLK SUN SND, NTHN4GRNTD includes eight original tracks produced and mixed by Tough Dumplin, engineered by Derek Benjamin, and featuring specials guests Diaphanie, YSN Fab, Asun Eastwood, JRDN, Odario, Steven Mulcare, and Andrew O. Even before its release, the LP was the most added new hip hop album at the North American College and Community Chart (NACC) and hit the overall top 30 adds at NACC, a rare thing for a hip hop album in a sea of indie rock. He's also been earning music media nods from the likes of Tinnitist, Cash Box Canada, and Canadian Beats and just shared a tune via Unreel Sessions and headlined Le Patio 340. We've got his single "Oceans & Beaches (Oh My)" with Andrew O for you this week plus you can watch the video directed by Denis Ankrah for Visual Theory. Winnipeg audiences can catch him live at True North Square on Saturday, July 22 for the R&B/Reggae event Soul in the City.
