We have an early present for your holiday playlists courtesy of Brandi Vezina's festive new original tune, "No More Tears This Christmas"! Vezina says, "Romantic songs are not quite in my wheelhouse; however, my band and I were on a writing trip and had fun writing this one together. Christmas cat sweaters, Santa hats, and people singing carols together were my inspiration." The Red River Metis singer/songwriter has had a busy 2023, earning the Manitoba Country Music Association's NCI Indigenous Country Music Award, hitting plenty of stages, and getting her music out and onto the airwaves, including this year's “Kiss Mine” on SiriusXM Canada’s The Indigiverse, Apple Music playlists Boots & Mocs, The Lodge, Indigenous Now, and Spotify's Indigenous playlist. On the horizon... Vezina plans to bring her signature roots + classic country + rock sounds to new music markets and will return to Music City, aka Nashville, to do more co-writing for a new EP slated for next year.
