Awesome things happen when artists collaborate and the latest release from synthpop artist Daggerss and Indigenous singer/songwriter JC Campbell is one of those things. The two artists co-wrote "The Water (Hold Onto Me)" at the Songsmiths Song Camp last December, releasing it on October 6.
Daggerss is also fresh from the late September release of her upbeat, '80s-inspired new single "Screaming Out", the first in a series of upcoming singles. She's currently in Kelowna for BreakOut West as a panelist and will hit the stage at Songsmiths' Prairie Pop’n Showcase on Oct 14.
Campbell, who released his studio album Lately in 2022, has headed eastward for two showcases at Folk Music Ontario on Oct 12 and 14.
