Anastasia Jane
"No One Can Eradicate Me"

From the album No One Can Eradicate Me

Featured track, available from November 16 to November 23

Anastasia Jane has released a new anthem... "No One Can Eradicate Me (NOCEM)". The singer/songwriter from Brandon wrote the song in response to anti-trans and anti-queer rhetoric and policies that have been growing throughout Canada and beyond calling for the eradication of gender-diverse communities and the erosion of gender-affirming care. "NOCEM" has been played at several events in Brandon, including the Transgender Day of Visibility in March, Pride Week in June, and the inaugural Salamander Summer Music Festival in July. It's also landed on the airwaves in several countries including South Africa and Ireland, and local indie radio the Colorado Phil Show and Spark FM. The single follows up Jane's spring 2022 debut album, Confessions from a Closet, an autobiography of her transition journey. She's set to release a new album, House of Jane, on November 17, during the International Transgender Week of Awareness and just prior to the Transgender Day of Remembrance on November 20. The theme of the album was inspired in part by Jane's recent diagnosis and treatment for stage 3 cancer, which put a halt to live performances until next year. Check out Jane's YouTube for several videos from the new album. We've got "NOCEM" for you as this week's feature. Press play, be sure to check out House of Jane, and stay tuned for more from Anastasia Jane!
