From the album Fake Humility
Featured track, available from February 1 to February 8
Singer, songwriter, producer, and entertainer Tommyphyll continues his series of single releases with the latest, "Fake Humility". Released in January, the new track "is a song about letting go of self-imposed limitations and beliefs that hold us back", says the Lagos-born, Winnipeg-based AFRODIEM artist... "there is no need to dim your light or downplay your efforts and talents for anyone for any reason". He's shared his signature multi-genre exploration of Afrobeat, hip hop, cinematic scores, and alternative R&B on stages in Winnipeg and Nigeria, released three singles in the last year, and continued creative collaborations. He'll share his new music at the BPM X WAG-Qaumajuq celebration of Black History Month on February 9 along with Kelly Bado and Zuki, and release another self-produced single in coming weeks. Press play on "Fake Humility" and stay tuned for much more from Tommyphyll!
