Brazilian-born multi-instrumentalist, songwriter, guitarist, and producer Marco Castillo has some new music to heat up your winter playlists. The Western Canadian Music Award-winning bandleader for the eight-piece Brazilian Beats has just released his fifth single, "Um Forró", about the inspiration of writing a song and the joy of keeping the cold away by dancing to the beat. He'll bring that energy and his signature Afro-Brazilian and Latin Samba-jazz funk to Folklorama's Winter Concert Series on March 12 at Cityplace Centre Court, performing 11:30 AM - 1:30 PM.
