Lana Winterhalt is ready to unleash her Recovering Theatre Kid! After releasing two EPs this winter, the acclaimed singer, songwriter, producer, and community-builder is set to launch her new album on March 22. Featuring tracks from both EPs plus four new songs, the album was engineered and produced by Winterhalt with mixing and mastering courtesy of Private Ear Recording's John Paul Peters.
In addition to writing and recording a whole album, Winterhalt has kept busy as part of the Good + Plenty Arts Collective and Good + Plenty Producers Club creating more opportunities for women, 2Spirit, non-binary, and gender-expansive folks in the music and music production industries in Manitoba. Good + Plenty recently earned a Rising Leader award at the 2024 Women In Music Canada Honours.
Local audiences can celebrate the new album along with Winterhalt at a special variety show on April 6 at The Handsome Daughter with very special guests Ila Barker, Nic Dyson, KWIAT, Veronica Blackhawk (of Tinge), Hera, Arielle McCaffrey, Viff, and Winterhalts very own mother Betty Winterhalt.
