The Casual Tees

Alternative Funk Rock

The Casual Tees are a six-piece Rock and Funk band from Winnipeg, Manitoba. Formed in the summer of 2016, The Casual Tees started out as a group of friends from rural Manitoba, east of Winnipeg. During their live perfomances, they love to have fun and keep the crowd entertained with a blend of cover tunes ranging from classic rock to classic reels (with the help of their fiddle player, Simon Reimer), their original music, and plenty of crowd interaction.

In February of 2017, the group won a local francophone battle of the bands competition "La Chicane Électrique" which helped them get their start in the Winnipeg music scene. Since the competition, they have played at local venues such as the Bell MTS tent at Festival Du Voyageur, The West End Cultural Centre, Scotiabank Stage, The Park Theatre, The Cavern and many others.

In spring of 2017, they recorded their first EP entitled "Elephant in The Room" with the help of their friend Julien Guenette who was taking courses at MOSMA (Mid Ocean School of Media Arts). They released the EP in Fall of 2017. Their most popular song "The Elephant In The Room" has received airplay on radio stations such as Energy 106, and Envol 91FM.
