Glacial Documentary + Live Performance

By Royal Canoe

In January of 2020, Royal Canoe performed "Glacial" – a concert featuring re-imagined versions of their songs using only instruments created from ice harvested from local ponds and rivers. Over two sub-zero nights in January, more than 5000 people showed up at The Forks, located in the heart of their beloved hometown of Winnipeg, to witness the project. This is the story of how they built the show from Jan 6th to 31st, as well as selections from the performance itself.
