This spring, Manitoba Music is sharing some of the stories behind the songs of four inspiring artists from Manitoba with new video series, Safe + Sound.
Presented with the support of Safe At Home MB, the video series explores music creation in our communities and the undeniable connection local musicians have to their stomping grounds, their homes, studios, neighbourhoods, and favourite music venues.
This genre-spanning series offers a glimpse at the creative spaces of each artist as they share insights into their artistic process and their connections to their neighbourhoods. Episodes also capture a pair of performances from each act, including exciting returns to cherished music rooms, filmed on location with 4/4 Films.
Western Canadian Music Award-winning prog rockers Dizzy Mystics close out the series in Stony Mountain before hitting the bright lights at The Park Theatre on May 20.
