The Woozle Effect

About

The Woozle Effect is Robert Laferriere's solo live music and streaming project, based in Russell, Manitoba.

Rob is really into what he calls "recycled music": exciting live loops played through custom harmonicas and guitars made of found objects like toasters, ammo cans, and hockey sticks! Performances range from free form request-driven live streams to festival shows and live concerts.

Original and cover songs alike tend to be largely blues influenced, with a smattering of just about every genre from rock to hip hop thrown in for good measure. The eclectic collection is designed to keep you on your toes (maybe even dancing!).

Every Saturday night from 8:30pm until 11:30pm:
RECYCLED SOUND JAM NIGHT
A fun, request-driven interactive live-stream show. Join in the conversation, listen to the tunes, make requests, and get in on this private house-show vibe, broadcast from the Woozle Jam Space in Russell, Manitoba.

Every Monday night from 8:30pm until 11:30pm:
OPEN HARP SURGERY
A live-stream all about harmonica maintenance, and a great chance to chat about music, streaming, art, philosophy, and whatever else comes to mind. Learn some music theory and along the way some tips and tricks on how to break (and fix!) your own harmonicas!

Live streams are available just about everywhere you can stream video!
