We’re bringing a little bit of BreakOut West to Winnipeg this October with the return of our BreakOut West International Program!

Manitoba Music is hosting two days of music industry programming focused on supporting artists' international career development goals.

On October 9 and 10, we’ll welcome five of BreakOut West’s international delegates to share their expertise on two very important topics: international touring and international networking. Delegates will also be available for one-on-one mentor meetings to help participants grow their careers across borders.

All sessions are free and will take place at the Manitoba Music office in Winnipeg’s East Exchange District. Spots are limited, so please pre-register!

MONDAY, OCTOBER 9

11 AM | International Touring
Join us for a round table discussion on international touring best practices with Inger Bråten (Killer Inc., Norway), Alicia Maciel (Sleeping Village, US), and Umong Shah (Fortitude Music / Future Echoes).

12 PM | International Networking
Join us for an in-depth discussion on international Networking with Laura Katz (Supe Troop, US) and Caroline Borolla (Clarion Call, US)

TUESDAY, OCTOBER 10

11 AM - 1:30 PM | One-on-One Mentor Meetings

ABOUT BREAKOUT WEST

BreakOut West 2023 will take place October 11 - 15 in Kelowna BC. This year's event will feature four days of immersive content; international market deep dives, one-on-one meetings with music industry professionals, artist mentorship, keynotes and feature conversations, networking events, and more.
