BACK TO BASICS is a three-part series facilitated by the Good + Plenty Producers Club to help you learn the basics of recording audio at home! Join us for one or all sessions to be on your way to making a clean-sounding demo at home. This is also a great refresher for those who want to strengthen their basics and foundation of home recording!

Home Recording Studio Setup
Wednesday, January 31 / 6:30 - 8:30 PM

This workshop will guide you through all the basic equipment you need to start recording at home, the basics of signal flow and how sound travels from your voice to your computer, and techniques to get a nice, clean sound. 

All About Digital Audio Workstations, or DAWs
Wednesday, February 28 / 6:30 - 8:30 PM

The Digital Audio Workstation, or DAW, is the software your computer uses to track and edit the sound. In small groups based on DAW (Logicx/GarageBand Ableton Live, Reaper) we will walk you through the basics of your DAW, helping you to understand the program you’re using. 

Intro to Mixing
Wednesday, March 27 / 6:30 - 8:30 PM

This workshop will teach you the basics of mixing your track, walking through panning, automation, compression, EQ, reverb, and other basic tools.


This session will be held in English. If you have any needs to make this event more accessible to you, please contact and we will do our best to accommodate you.
