If you’re building a career or business in music, understanding the basics of music law and copyright are critical. Join us for an insightful session designed to equip you with essential knowledge for navigating the legal landscape of the music industry. We’ll be joined by Michael Badejo of Fillmore Riley LLP and Polaris Music Prize listed singer/songwriter and Heart Lake Records Inc. president Witch Prophet to explore topics including copyright basics, licensing, agreements and contract basics, and how to protect your creative work.

This session is presented by BPM and is free and open to all, pre-registration via Eventbrite is required.
