About

This workshop will get participants involved in the development of a new song. Dominique will begin the session with a discussion about musical styles and song structures (ie. starting with the chorus or going without a chorus). Participants will then examine the choruses that they find memorable before writing lyrics and melody for a new chorus. The group will then add verses to the song and wrap up by looking at ways to improve the song by changing a verse, a line or rhyme, or changing the tempo.
