We’re excited to launch a new addition to our calendar of professional development opportunities this year! The January Music Meeting will host some of Canada’s top music industry pros in a conference format that includes panels, workshops, discussion groups, and one-on-one meetings.

Reps from the label, agency, management, festival, publishing, and publicity sides of the industry will converge on Winnipeg to discuss the state of Canada’s independent music industry and provide concrete advice on how to succeed in the ever-changing music business.

This is a fantastic opportunity to gain access to tastemakers and experts from across the country while connecting with local artists and industry peers, at a conference designed and held right here in Winnipeg.

SUNDAY, JANUARY 26

11am – 1pm
Town Hall Meeting

In a time of unprecedented change in our industry, this is a chance to take a step back and examine the trends, make predictions about the future, and argue about the fine points of what works and what’s a distraction in the modern music business. A panel including all of our key invited delegates will tackle the big issues, as decided by the audience, and will open up the floor for questions and discussion.

The Town Hall Meeting includes a delicious breakfast.
