Undertaking a media and publicity campaign to promote your brand may seem daunting, but it’s not impossible. This discussion will focus on the role of a publicist and how to effectively do your own publicity and get music into the hands of these industry taste makers.
The MusicWorks DIY Series is a stream of discussions offering emerging artists, music companies, and veterans looking to update their skills, the opportunity to learn music business fundamentals. The 2016 session kicks off with important topics that everyone needs to master starting with an update and refresher for participants from this past fall’s DIY Series, accounting/administration, strategic development, the new EPK, and creating a cohesive publicity strategy.
