In today’s music scene, every artist needs a music video. Some music videos still get screened on MuchMusic and MTV, most will never make it there, but if you don’t have a video on youTube, on Myspace, or on your website, you barely exist in our streaming media world. Whether you hire a director, grip and best boy, or you crowd around your iMac’s iCamera, making a video is a necessity.



This workshop will help you plan your next video project. Caelum will discuss funding, planning, budgets, and timelines. We will look at storyboards and other ways of envisioning the project, we will talk about different methods and techniques for capturing your artistic vision on video, and we will look at issues around file format, resolution, and digital video distribution.
