In this session, we'll talk about what country artists can do to create a dynamic live show that will stand out and how to secure live performance opportunities necessary for their career growth. We'll dissect the global market, discuss tour strategies, and learn tips for drawing and engaging an audience.

1PM | DIY Artist vs. The Team

Having a solid team behind the music can be impactful to any artist's career while, in today's ever-changing music market, we are seeing more successful DIY artists than ever. This discussion will cover the various roles that can help an artist excel, which roles are most valuable at the beginning or necessary for growth, and best practices for building business relationships. We'll look at how DIY artists have overcome the need for some team members and how they're utilizing their peers, community, and fans to amplify their career.

Space is limited and advance registration is strongly encouraged. All workshops take place at Manitoba Music (1-376 Donald Street, Winnipeg) unless otherwise listed.

Childcare can be provided, free of charge, with three days advance notice.
