Tune in via Facebook Live for a chance to ask your own questions and learn about the program updates before the May 20 recording deadline. Manitoba Film & Music's music team will be joining us for a free session to provide an overview of their recording program and recently-announced strategic program updates.

The session will cover all of MFM’s music programs as well as their new changes to the Touring Support Program, which now includes online concerts, the new pre-production level for the Recording Production Fund, changes to funding amounts and levels, and other relevant changes that were announced earlier this year.

The video will be available after the session for anyone unable to join the conversation live.

MFM Grant Writing Incubator

Planning to apply for Manitoba Film & Music’s Music Recording Production Fund? Manitoba Music is launching another grant writing incubator program to help! This program is for beginner to intermediate artists and industry professionals in Manitoba who are in pre-production, or recording a demo, single, EP, or album for commercial release, and want to apply for MFM’s upcoming deadline on May 20, 2021.

Participants will be guided through the process of writing and applying for funding by experienced mentors with the intention of submitting a funding application to MFM. Running for two weeks in May, the program will cover business registration, application forms, budget, and marketing/project plans.
