After two years of street parties, festival stages, and hot ‘n dirty night clubs, Dirty Catfish Brass Band are pleased to present their sophomore release, Big Shiny Brass. The six track EP of covers takes the band to some unexpected places and keeps to their party spirit. They give a nod to fellow Winnipeggers The Guess Who and explore their own influences over a collection of pop tunes via Taylor Swift, Justin Bieber and more.
While Big Shiny Brass is filled with the spirit of the New Orleans brass tradition, DCBB makes a point to take the music in a direction of their own.
