About

Hearing Trees
Hearing Trees takes you from edge-riding folk-rock to uplifting choruses with a backdrop of colourful, image-inducing lyrics. The hard-working band follows in the footsteps of Canadian mainstays such as Sam Roberts, Matthew Good, Tragically Hip and The Watchmen to carve out their own slot of the northern music landscape.

Frontman Graham Hnatiuk’s immersive poetry grasps the gritty, dry edge of modern life - from Canadian soldiers coming home from the Spanish civil war, to kayaking in the Arctic Circle, and the return of their hometown Winnipeg Jets.

Sebastian Owl
From their Brandon, Manitoba beginnings in 2010, Sebastian Owl has strived for harmony-rich melodies, catchy choruses, meaningful lyrics and a no-holds barred energetic live show.

The quintet have appeared on the stages of Brandon Folk Festival, Music and Art Festival, Harvest Sun Music Festival, Winnipeg Folk Festival, Ness Creek Music Festival, Rock in the Fields Minnedosa and multiple others across the Prairies.

With four studio albums under their belts, these small-town boys have big time dreams and a lengthy catalogue of song & sound that's sure to get stuck in your head and leave you smiling.

Carey J. Buss
Carey J. Buss is a Manitoba-based singer-songwriter. He writes guitar-driven folk music in hopes of sonically emulating the freedom of the Canadian territory, which has been compared to a cross between Fleet Foxes and Stan Rogers. He has released two EP's, the newest of which dropped in May of 2015 at the Times Change(d), and is entitled “Answer The Bell”. Carey toured the EP throughout the summer and fall of 2015, and also through February-March of 2016.
