Q: What does it mean to be Puzzled?
A: To me being Puzzled is the fact of not knowing, not understanding, or not being sure. These are all things that you think of when you suffer from a mental illness, find out about a health concern or help someone through a difficult period.
Q: Why Movember and Project 11?
A: As someone who has witnessed many close friends and family that have suffered from cancer or a mental illness this sure hits home.
The Movember Foundation concentrates on men's health and mental illness. With every fund raised the foundation addresses some of the biggest health issues faced by men: prostate cancer, testicular cancer, and mental health and suicide prevention. Movember is transforming the way research into men’s health is done, and the way health services reach and support men
Project 11 is inspired and created in honor of Rick Rypien #11, former player of the Winnipeg Jets and Manitoba Moose. It is available to support students in grades 5 to 8 with virtual tutorials educating students about mental health.
