Major Changes for 2013-2014

We have been working in consultation with the Canadian Independent Music Association, the Music Managers’ Forum, all of the provincial and territorial Music Industry Associations and other industry professionals, to try to create a new FACTOR - one that responds better to your needs and those of the market, and that can process your applications in a transparent, better organized and more efficient fashion.

We’re writing to let you know about some big, exciting changes we are making for our next fiscal year. Everyone who applies to FACTOR will be affected, so please take a moment to read this memo and start thinking about what you’ll need to do to be eligible to receive FACTOR funding. At the end of this memo there is a Timeline that gives more detail on what’s happening and when, as well as some notes on what you should do now to start getting ready for the transition.
