New EP, Wood Songs, from astre

astre has released her debut EP entitled Wood Songs, on July 7th, 2014!  All songs were written between 2012-13, and recorded in the winter of 2014 at Kathryn's family cabin in the Manitoban Interlake.  This album seeks to celebrates all things noisy and beautiful, weaving haunting melodies through minimalist structures.
