Volunteering at Manitoba Music

Volunteering is a great way to connect with our music community, meet new people, and gain some experience. Some of the things we do at Manitoba Music wouldn’t be possible without the help of our generous volunteers. If you're interested in getting involved, check out the main areas we need some volunteer help with.

Workshops & Panels

Workshops and panels are an integral part of what we do here at Manitoba Music. We bring in industry pros from across Canada and beyond to share their experience and knowledge on an array of music business topics. Workshops run a few times each month in the fall, winter, and spring, and are open both to our members and non-members.

This can be a great way to develop skills in event management, learn more about music business, and connect with the local music community and visiting industry.

Live Music Events

Manitoba Music presents regular live music events including a monthly multi-genre concert series called New Music Night and Open Mic Nights. We are also involved in various other events throughout the year.

Office Work 

Manitoba Music has a lot of initiaqtives on the the go and we sometimes have administrative and research opportunities during our regular business hours (Monday through Friday, 10AM - 5PM). 

This can be a great way to learn more about music business, develop basic office skills, and get to know Manitoba Music better.
