Jess Rae Ayre:
You may recognize Jess Rae Ayre from the Western Canadian Music Award Winning roots band Sweet Alibi.
Jessica has been playing music and writing songs since she was old enough to tell her parents she wanted to be a musician when she "grows up".
Her soulful and expressive voice is often compared to the likes of Adele and Amy Winehouse. Jessica takes everything life gives her, and puts it into her songs. When Jessica performs, people are often drawn into her honest songwriting and soulful/roots sound. She always looking forward to sharing the love of music with the next audience.

Brian James:
Brian James was born in a cave in the mountains 700 years ago. His
mother was a simple peasant girl and his father was, at that time, King of the
mer-people. Shortly after he was born, his father was betrayed and murdered
by his closest and most trusted advisor. Brian spent centuries underwater
searching for briny vengeance. I won't bore you with the details of his quest, but I will say that justice was served and that it involved hand to hand combat with a Kraken. After he avenged his father, Brian's
life felt pretty aimless so he became a musician.
Being a Juno Award winning studio musician and producer as well as a church
band director has left the stamp of all different types of music on
Brian's style which is fiercely original and honest. If Hawksley Workman and
Elliot Smith were to have a child together (with the help of modern
science) and that child made a record produced by Tom Petty it might give you
an idea of what Brian aims for... but that's aiming pretty high. Brian would agree.
Whether on guitar or piano or banjolele, (if a banjo and a ukelele were to
have a child with the help of modern science) Brian's songs are designed
to evoke emotion and leave a piece of himself behind. Don't miss him
unless you want to wonder what a banjolele looks and sounds like forever.
