HAPPY ST. PATRICK'S DAY! Lá fhéile Pádraig sona dhuit!
From the rolling hills of Treherne Manitoba, Sheena Grobb grew up surrounded by traditional and modern Celtic music. Raised by her mother, a music and school teacher and her father a local grain farmer, the Rankin Family and Manitoba-born Loreena McKennitt were on constant rotation. A pilgrimage to Scotland with her mother and sister later affirmed Sheena’s longstanding love affair with Europe’s Celtic nations. Irish rock band The Cranberries and Canadian Juno Award winner Ashley MacIsaac, also influenced her music and ignited her own Celtic heritage from first listen!
It's no wonder that St. Patrick's Day has particular significance for Sheena. She is excited and looking forward to sharing her bonny melodies with you!
We hope that you'll join us for some wonderful live music and a "Fine Evening with Sheena"!
