WINNIPEG BBQ AND BLUES FEST!
Angel Calnek and Slide Boy Sandmoen from Hillbilly Burlesque are featured in a special Women in Blues (WIB) concert on Sunday, August 19, 2012 at this inaugural Winnipeg festival. They join Winnipegger Kathy Kennedy for a set of Manitoba's Women in Blues. Both were featured on the ever popular Women in Blues CDs 1 & 2 which are in rotation on playlists across the globe and supported by blues aficionadoes such as CBC's Holgar Peterson of Saturday Night Blues and Blues Brother Dan Akyroyd who also sponsored WIB CD #1.
