WHAT | Midnight Choir is an open-membership musical project. We will practice two songs (anything from Radiohead to David Bowie to Neil Young) and perform them at a Winnipeg venue. No musical experience necessary. All are welcome. 

This is the FIRST EVER event in Winnipeg. This is exciting. This also means that ̶a̶n̶y̶t̶h̶i̶n̶g̶ ̶c̶o̶u̶l̶d̶ ̶h̶a̶p̶p̶e̶n̶ we have no idea what will happen. But chances are it will be magical.

HOW IT WORKS | It’s easy.
step i: Learn the songs (at least kinda).
step ii: Show up.
step iii: SING.

We will rehearse and perform two songs each night. Don’t worry about learning any specific part -- we will arrange folks into groups as required on the spot. There will be song sheets available. Show up on time, and be ready to sing!

ii. The Scientist by Coldplay

The theme, you ask? How about Midnight Choir's "launch" party? It's either that or ‘careers that you need a university degree for’. (We’re working on it.)

DETAILS | In a nutshell: Show up at 7:30 on Wednesday, June 12 at Thom Bargen Coffee and Tea (64 Sherbrook Street). There is no cost, although we may collect a suggested donation/PWYC in the future to cover costs the group incurs.
