Daring to begin his musical ambitions post college graduation, Henry Fong has managed to have one of the shortest but most action-packed DJ careers thus far. His ability to make big-room progressive and electro house club friendly with flawless transitions and genius mash-ups, sets him apart from the pack and has allowed him to share the stage with some of the world's biggest dance music talents. These include Avicii, Laidback Luke, Steve Aoki, Steve Angello, Wolfgang Gartner, Calvin Harris, Bob Sinclar, Sander Van Doorn, Thomas Gold, Max Vangeli, Adrian Lux, Above and Beyond, Diplo, and more. His first year of music production ever in 2011 saw consecutive #1, #3, and #7 Hype Machine Top 10 most popular tracks, and since has had tracks in the beatport top 100 and released on respected labels such as Revealed, Big Fish Recordings, and Blackhole. His music has also received massive DJ support from industry heavy hitters such as Hardwell, Avicii, Chuckie, Showtek, Knife Party, Tommy Trash, Bingo Players, Fedde Le Grand, Armin Van Buuren, Thomas Gold, Paul Oakenfold, Clockwork, Matisse & Sadko, Felix Cartal, and Cr2 records label head MYNC. Long before keyword searches and way past his bedtime, a young Justin Hale was taking notes under the covers and soaking in the late night sounds transmitted from what must have been outer space. But it was the 1980s and these frequencies didn’t come from space, they were broadcasted from campus radio stations in Toronto and Buffalo. Detroit techno, Chicago house, German electro, Jamaican dub, and New York hip-hop made up the soundtrack that proved to be the inspiration for decades of crate digging. Fast forward many years, raves, club nights, and festivals later, Justin Hale left Southern Ontario for the Big Mountains of B.C. It was in these mountains that sound systems were built, parties were thrown, and foundations were grown in the BC bass music community. Justin built and shared the stage with countless international DJs and most of BC's rising and top talents in electronic music. Through his “One Love Soundsystem” and work with Footwerk (https://www.facebook.com/FootwerkEvents) and Excision's bi-weekly night at Level, Justin earned a lighting contractor position with the Fractal Forest at Shambhala Music Festival. Taking it to the next level as a Fractal Forest resident DJ, Justin can be found every year doing what he does best: creating a bubbling dance floor of genre hopping, bumpin’ bass music.
