The first Purple Room Showcase Series of 2014 will get things going with some high energy performances from a pair of great up-and-coming bands! Hosted as always by Paul Little, this night of electrorock will featue co-headliners M&M Meats and Glass Random each doing 30-minute sets. You won't want to miss this one, for no other reason than to tell your friends in a few years that you saw both these bands in the intimate Purple Room before they took the world by storm!

Think we're exaggerating? Well for $5, it's a pretty safe gamble -- and one we know will be worth it. Come on down for 9:30pm to enjoy some reasonably-priced snacks and beverages before the show, which will start at 10pm sharp. (And yes, in this cold weather, we're now selling hot coffee and tea along with our regular assortment of drinks!)

The entrance to the Purple Room is located in the back of Frame Arts Warehouse, which you can get to by going around the right of the building or by coming up the alley from Princess Ave. We'll have the lights on, so you shouldn't miss it!
 

"The Purple Room Showcase Series" is a weekly arts showcase featuring a regular rotation of music, stand-up comedy, improv comedy, sketch comedy, film, and spoken word. Every Sunday night, you'll be able to check out local performers or artists in one of those fields for an evening of Winnipeg arts and culture.
