About
March 1st! Spring is in sight! Shake off the Winter with beautiful folk music that holds the promise of melting snow and memories of what grass looks like.
CARLY DOW
Carly Dow was born in Winnipeg, Manitoba, and lets the grit and charm, the haunt and humour of her surroundings sink into her writing. She melds lyric and melody to create timeless music that is characterized by guitar or clawhammer banjo, and her unique, smoky voice. She sees beauty everywhere and sings it out.

EAGLE LAKE OWLS
Eagle Lake Owls sing folk songs about small town life, long winters and endless summers, filtered through a dusty car window. Singer/guitarist Andy Cole, cellist Nathan Krahn and multi-instrumentalist Dominique Lemoine paint vivid pictures of the Canadian prairies with sparse acoustic soundscapes. Guitar and cello cradle guy-girl vocals that sweep from hushed tones to desperate howls, clinging to harmony. Delicate strings, horns and percussion punctuate the minimalist arrangements.
